Education for All: Empowering Through Access

2. Project Summary:

“Education for All” is an initiative by AHEAD Foundation aimed at providing access to quality education for underprivileged children and youth in rural and underserved communities. This project seeks to remove the barriers of poverty, gender inequality, and lack of infrastructure, and create pathways for lifelong learning.

3. Objectives:

• Ensure access to primary and secondary education for children in need.
• Provide school supplies, uniforms, and transportation for enrolled students.
• Support schools in rural areas with infrastructure, trained teachers, and digital tools.
• Promote girl child education through awareness and financial support.
• Establish community learning centers for dropouts and adult learners.

4. Target Beneficiaries:

• Children (ages 5–18) from low-income and marginalized families.
• Adolescent girls at risk of dropping out due to economic or social pressure.
• School dropouts and out-of-school youth needing reintegration.
• Adults seeking basic literacy and vocational education.

• Enrolment drives in local villages.

• Establishment of after-school tutoring and digital literacy hubs.

• Community volunteers as mentors and tutors.

• Capacity-building for local teachers.
• Provision of teaching aids and digital classroom tools.
• Repair and construction of classrooms and sanitation facilities.

1. Girls First Program

• Menstrual hygiene education and free sanitary kits.
• Safety and self-defence workshops.
• Family counselling and awareness drives to reduce early dropout.

1. Bridge & Vocational Courses

• Learning programs for school dropouts.
• Skill training for youth (sewing, computers, trades).
• Certificate programs in collaboration with vocational partners.

3–5 years (scalable annually based on funding and reach)

7. Location:

Phase 1: Rural districts in Bihar, Jahrkhand
Phase 2: Expansion to neighbouring underserved areas.

8. Expected Impact (First 3 Years):

• 5,000+ children enrolled in schools.
• 20+ learning centers operational.
• 1,000+ girls supported through “Girls First.”
• 500+ youth trained through vocational programs.

9. Monitoring & Evaluation:

• Regular progress tracking through digital dashboards.
• Monthly field reports and case studies.
• Pre/post assessments for students.
• Independent annual review and impact audit.
